This is a self portrait I took a long time ago. I made it black and white and played with the level of brightness and contrast. The sun coming in from behind the subject makes the photo more interesting, adds depth, and contributes to the scale of variety of shades of color.
Thh composition of this photo is what I like the most. The perspective is almost akward. Not only does this photo utilize the skills we learned about foreground and background, the light in this photo was enhanced to add depth to the photo.
I focused on the texture of this photo and the subject's potentially for light reflection. I think that all of the contrast in this photo adds to the entire effect of the slippery surfaces photographed in this image.
While editing this image I contrasted the colors. When I did this, it made the photo appear to be more three dimensional. All of a suuden the snow seemed to be thicker and more realistic.
While editing this photo I had the goal of making the shadow below the subjects chin apparent. While I did succeed at making the shadow visible, I also made the wrinkles in the background fabric more visible. In a perfect world I would like those to fade away and have the background be completely white.
I love all of the detail in this photo. The textures are so crisp and yet the background gade away. I think the composition and the editing of the photo was very successful.
The perspective gave this image an incredible dimensionality.
I spent a lot of time editing this photo. I went back and edited the contrast and brightness several times.
I was able to give the water the appropriate darkness I desired in this photo. The editing process was successful, but I wish I would have taken the picture from a diffrent angle.
The texture in this photo is perfect. I am still not sure whether the brghtness is too bright on the fur. There might be too much white.
I like the detail in this photo. I think it is successful and not too busy because the subject is brighter than the background.
I like the dimensionality in this photo. The values in the water made the editing process successful.
I wish I could have increased the values in this photo. Although I played with the contrast and brightness I could not achieve the desired color scale in this photo.
The contrast in this photo turned out nicely. I tried to push the limits, while making it appear realistic and not too edited.
I like the movement and angles the subject creates. I am not sure whether I increased thwe contrast too much. I definetly tried to go a little extreme on this picture.
